There are many instructional DVDs and videos on the market, however it’s difficult to find a good one that will give you a sense of how JKA karate should be performed and learnt today. For the time being, we have found some links on YouTube which offer good examples of kata being performed in JKA competitions. But watch this space for updates!

For a bit of fun the following films are highly recommended. Kuro-Obi and High Kick Girl feature Naka Sensei 7th Dan JKA. Karate movies with real karate!
