Throughout the year, club members have the opportunity to attend national courses and competitions organised by JKA England. These are an excellent way to supplement your regular training and to benefit from the tuition of Ohta Sensei and visiting instructors from JKA HQ dojo, Japan. JKA England licences must be in-date to participate in any lesson, grading, course or competition. Club kyu grading fee includes training, grading, certificate and new belt if successful.
JKA England courses cost £10 (except Spring and Autumn International courses) and also incorporate training for squad and those soon taking a dan grading.
*Brown and black belts should bring gum shields and mitts to all JKA England courses. Groin and chest protectors are recommended.
